Hi, I’m Kip.
I design digital products that make life work better.

A few places that I’ve made an impact:
BOLD
Age of Learning
Disney
Deutsch
NBC
Los Angeles Times
Human-centered. AI-augmented. Always evolving.
I believe that great design starts with empathy and ends with measurable value. My process follows a human-centered, data-informed approach,, from discovery to prototype, blending creative experimentation with clear business outcomes.
AI is a natural extension of my design practice. I view it not as a replacement for designers but as an amplifier of our craft, much like Figma, which I’ve mastered to create highly interactive prototypes that wow stakeholders and bring ideas vividly to life.
Elevating a company's intellectual property.
I am a Google Scholar with two US Patents approved for design innovation. I have another patent pending for the AI writing help features.
• US Patent: Kid's Virtual World Chat Interface that Prevents Online Bullying
• US Patent: 3D Game Gift Card That Turns into a Pair of 3D Glasses
Building with passionate, purpose-led teams.
I’m seeking to collaborate with a small team of A-players who share a passion for innovation, start-up mentality, and design craftsmanship. I’m seeking to diversify my experience and I am open to working in any industry.
I am drawn to companies working in growing industries like health and wellness, green energy, or AI-powered tools that make the world a better place.
I thrive in environments that value autonomy, curiosity, and building something meaningful together.
Diversify creatively and give back generously.
When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me playing pickleball, mountain biking, snowboarding, cooking, or diving into the latest book on product design.
I’m also a longtime hobbyist DJ, performing under the alias KnickerBeat, where you can find my mixes on SoundCloud from having played parties around the world.
For a short time, alongside my design career, I worked as a professional TV/film actor in Los Angeles, with speaking roles in projects such as NBC's ER, CBS's Cold Case, Veronica Mars, Charmed, and the film,The Deep End, with that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
How does that relate to my role in product design? Well, that experience as a performer and orator sharpened my ability to read a room, tell stories with clarity, and bring energy to stakeholder presentations.
Ironically my film/TV projects were happening at the same time I was doing freelance design projects for talent like Jay Leno, jaylenosgarage.com, and Miley Cyrus, mileyworld.com (previous editions of those sites).
Further more, any small gesture of philanthropy or volunteering is another aspiration of mine. To that end, I founded a DJ-based fundraising rooftop event series in Los Angeles, Cocktails for Causes, that raised over $20,000 for after-school programs for low-income kids in Watts and food and job placement opportunties for Hollywood's homeless community.
I look forward more compassionate creative collisions with the right collaborators in the spirit of fun and new ways of thinking. I am a big fan of the theories of Concious Capitalism.
