As part of Disney Interactive, I designed web and in-game experiences for Disney XD, the entertainment network for kids and teens. Though dated in appearance today, the work embodied leading-edge digital design practices for its era at Disney Interactive.

Bringing Disney stories to life through play

I helped shape the Disney XD online style guide, defining a cross-promotional branding system that unified the network’s digital experiences while maintaining each property’s unique tone. For the Phineas & FerbKick Around the World” campaign, I led UX and UI design for a soccer-themed website celebrating the World Cup.

Results and recognition

I was honored with two Disney Inventor Awards and granted a U.S. Patent for my contributions to digital product innovation at Disney Interactive.

The first was for the design of an innovative gift card that transformed into a pair of 3D glasses, granting players access to the Pirates of the Caribbean 3D virtual world — an early example of bridging physical retail and digital engagement.

The second recognized my work on Club Penguin's Phrase Chat, a globalized in-game communication system designed to promote safety and inclusivity by preventing online bullying, setting a new standard for family-friendly virtual interaction.
