Problem

Resume creation is often slow, repetitive, and intimidating. Users needed help moving past blank-state anxiety and writing uncertainty without adding more complexity to an already high-friction funnel.

Approach

I led the UX strategy, prototyping, and usability testing for BOLD’s first AI-powered resume and cover letter features. Early prototypes helped align product, engineering, data, and executive stakeholders around a simpler AI-assisted writing experience.

Outcome

The launch increased conversion by 8.3%, reduced funnel completion time by five minutes, and generated $4.1M in annual revenue. The design approach became a model for AI features across the company and contributed to a U.S. design patent.
